Silver Linings

I've spent the last few days moping around the house like a wet weekend 'cos I've had a horrible, feverish cold. It would have been much more bearable if I'd had to stagger into work as usual, but when I've taken time off, it's a bit much!

Anyway, the silver lining is that not having had the inclination to do anything involving any degree of physical activity, I've had lots of time to sit at the PC and play with both UF and Apo

Experimenting with some of the new Apo plugins has been both fun & frustrating and I've a long way to go yet but am enjoying the explorations. Big thanks to the development team for all their hard work

Good! So have we. We have had several adopted prisoners as we used to have a group here. Now my husband just writes the monthly letters.

We had a dissident Russian Jew called Charansky, who was released, and is now a prominent political figure in Israel. We also supported a Morrocan prisoner at the time of the dead king, who was also released.

How could I get an advert like yours to put on my page? I'm not very computer wise.

Perhaps I could just copy and paste but I'm not sure about that.

There are a selection of banners , but I'm not sure you'll be able to use them in your journal because you're not a subscriber. But you can try it out: on this page [link] is the code of the various banners. Try posting the code for the one you choose into your journal and see if it shows up when you preview it.

You can always use the "website url" section in your profile (user page settings) to put a link.

I suppose I could post a banner as a deviance and then put it permanently above my gallery.

I don't think osting the banner as a deviation won't work: it's neither text nor a picture and if you just post the visual you run the risk of someone complaining it's a copyright violation

You could always use a link in your journal?

If you use the HTML tags , you can get it to show

Support Amnesty International or whatever words you want, so that the words themselves are a link.
