And by all means.... revel in your grumpiness !!! I told a nephew one time years ago that one of my goals in life was to be the aunt that whenever anybody said " C'mon kids, time to visit Auntie Lauren at the home " everybody would cry & yell & refuse to be dragged out of the room without bribes. I plan on being sarcastic & crochetedy til the day I die.
Btw.... my nephew looked at me in horror but he never had a sense of humor or a sense of irony.
So..... we miss you & hope life is treating you fair to middlin' anyway !!!
Perhaps a long vaccation will cheer us up or a handsom secretary-boy who does all the typing.

Hoping to go away for 3 weeks in the autumn, if J and I can make our minds up about where to go: keep your fingers crossed!!
GG showed me an add yesterday of an English teacher offering a combination of English lessons and walking excursions in Oban, Scotland or Prestatyn and Beddgelert in North Wales. Where would you go if you hadn't been to any of these places. I like walking as long as it isn't too steep.
I think we're going to go to Florida. Probably spend a week in Orlando (you're never too old to visit Disney, Universal Studios & Epcot
If you do go to Florida promise me to beware of the alligators
I haven't been on a vacation with gg ever except 3 days to Vienna some years ago. I am still undecided if I want to go to Wales or Scottland but perhaps I can make up my mind after talking it over again tomorrow. Somehow I am tempted but on the other hand I dread the idea of being stuck with 9 strangers for 14 days
I recommend making the artworks anyway, fractal or not, and posting it to DeviantART only if you feel like it. The site is rarely deviant, and that's a good thing. It's also a long way from being the last word on art . . .
