I like the word "grumpy": it sums up beautifully that mood of low-level irritation when the entire world seems determined to be a complete pain in the arse. Nothing major out of whack, just enough little annoyances that build up a good head of grump until everything makes you roll your eyes, tut a lot, and look for the metaphorical cat to kick. Even the things you enjoy doing become troublesome!
dA's timing is perfect

in that just when I was at my tetchiest, it went through a spate of time outs interspersed with "service unavailable" and "cannot connect to the database" messages.
Every time I look through the fractal gallery I seem to see more and more miscats and because I'm seeing more miscats I also see more copyright infringements. I think that when someone signs up to dA there should be a
large notice popping up saying "Do not upload work that isn't created by you. Read the policy". It might make a few people stop and think and every little helps.
If the notice could only be accompanied by a cartoon hammer that bursts out of the screen and gives a good bonk on the bonce .....

And those are just a few of the online irritations: I'll spare you the rest and the offline ones

So ... I haven't been very active of late and am going to try and blast through my message centre and catch up.
Try a stiff drink against grumpyness Gill. Or scream in the car.
