... and common sense
Both appear to be sadly lacking on dA right now. Overreaction and temper tantrums however .... not so much.
Person A writes a journal & gives a personal opinion on a type of miscat. Gives no examples, mentions no names. A neutral, personal opinion.
Person B decides, however, to interpret it as a personal slight and is extremely offensive to Person A.
Person B subsequently writes a "Waah, I'm being oppressed" self-serving journal complaining about "hateful attacks" and damn me if others don't join in, making it patently obvious they haven't read, or have read and failed to comprehend, the source of Person's B ire. Otherwise they'd see Person B's journal for the fiction it is.
Some people did 'get it' , my comments are not addressed to themAfter over 2 years on dA, I'm mostly inured to this type of behaviour from the teens but to see it from a group of - allegedly - adults, turns my stomach.
Sticking by one's friends is, generally, a good thing. Blind loyalty in the absence of facts -or in total denial of those facts - can be downright stupid.
If anyone reading this journal is offended by it, I don't give a flying fuck. And that's
my personal opinion.
Have a nice day
